Infrared Heating Panels

Infrared heating panels provide comfortable heat that is similar to solar heat. Unlike conventional boiler heating, people and objects are heated directly. There is no air heating and therefore no air circulation and thus also no dust movement. The radiant heat is for about 85% absorbed by the objects in the environment (walls, floors, furniture, people, etc.). At that time, the objects are warmer than the surrounding air and heat is transferred to the air via convection.

Advantages:

  • The infrared heating panels provide infrared radiation having a wavelength greater than 5 microns. As a result, the heat radiation is absorbed by most objects including the human body.
  • When the radiant panels heat objects to 20-22°C, then a comfortable heating can be achieved with only an air temperature of 18-19°C. This leads to a minimal energy savings of approximately 20%.
  • The radiation panels provide a better temperature balance in the room. Only 1-2°C temperature difference between floor and ceiling (with conventional central heating this is about 1°C temperature rise by 30-50cm height)
  • There is less air movement in the heated space, and thus also less dust movement. This reduces the risk for a number of diseases for people who are sensitive for dust.
  • Radiant heat provides a higher temperature of the walls, thus reducing the risk of condensation, without change of the humidity .
  • There is no heat loss through windows, since the wavelength of the radiation is too high to be able to penetrate through the glass ( > 3micrometer ).
  • No maintenance required. The heating panels are available in a low temperature and high temperature version.

Enon Low Temperature Infrared Heating Panel

Low-temperature Infrared Heating panels:

These are mainly used in public spaces such as houses, restaurants, cottages, hotels, caravans, garages, shops, schools, etc.. The panels are suitable for installation in system ceilings, but can also be hung up with the supplied brackets. The panels can be controlled directly or indirectly with a room thermostat. The heating panel consist of flat film resistor which on both sides is insulated and wrapped in a sheet cassette. The front of the panel is on both the inside and outside provided with a special coating. The inside is provided with a coating which provides a maximum heat- absorption provided by the heating foil. The exterior coating ensures optimum heat radiation and has a sprayed (spack) appearance.
The panels can be supplied in various colors.

Enon High Temperature Infrared Heating Panel

High Temperature Infrared Heating Panels:

These are typically used in larger public spaces, industry, agricultural and livestock. The panels can be mounted directly to the ceiling or hung up with threaded rods or chains. The panels can be directly or indirectly controlled by a room thermostat. The panels have a heating element consisting of one or more aluminum plates in which a rod-shaped heating element is mounted. The element is built into a powder-coated steel housing. The heating plates are coated with a special coating that increases the radiation capacity.
